The American Peony Society

Governance

The Society's affairs are administered by a Board of Directors elected at the Annual General Meeting. Currently Directors serve a two year term. The Board elects or appoints Officers at it's annual meeting. These are the President, a Vice President, a Recording Secretary, a Corresponding Secretary and a Treasurer. The Officers look after the routine day-to-day administrative needs of the Society.

Any person may become a Director provided they are a member in good standing and are able and willing to participate in regular e-mail discussions and decision making processes as required throughout the year. A willingness to lead or serve on committees engaged in Society initiatives is also required.

The current Board of Directors is listed here.
