Publications of the American Peony Society.
The Society has produced a number of publications over the years. The most notable is the quarterly Bulletin, published since 1915, and sent out to members as part of their membership benefit.
Books too were an important vehicle for disseminating information.
Peonies, edited by James Boyd and published by the society in 1928 has long been out of print, but it is well worth locating a copy if you are at all interested in peonies from the 19th and early 20th centuries.
The other books produced by the Society are still available, though some in limited numbers. See Available Publications for more information on these, pricing, and how to order. |
